Roughly 80% of the sensory input reaching the brain is visual. Eye movements, focus, tracking, and depth perception are all cortical and brainstem processes — not just eyeball function.
When vision and the vestibular system disagree, the brain has to choose which to trust. That mismatch shows up as motion sickness, screen intolerance, headaches, and reading fatigue.
Assessing eye movements, convergence, and gaze stability tells us how well the brain is integrating what it sees with where it thinks the body is. Rehab retrains those circuits directly.
